Description
After doing bit of the search I find out in 1910 it cost 1 1/2 p for Herald newspaper.
In 1901, following Federation, the British silver and bronze coins continued in use but in 1910 Australian Commonwealth siver coins were introduced. In 1911 bronze pennies and halfpennies were introduced. In 1913 the first series of Australian notes was issued, based on the old British sterling system.
I took this picture at Spirit of Anzac exhibition in Sydney from old silent movie playing there. However I am not 100%sure where it was filmed, I am guessing it is in Melbourne. Do you know more ?? Please let me know if you do !

Fantastic historical photo, love this! Where was it? The tram line should provide you clue where it was. It was likely to be on Swanston Street near Flinders Street Railway Station? Good luck in finding it! l/f
