Description
Find this swamp wallaby when I emerge after a bush walk at Ku Ring Gai Chase national park at the Basin, which is open camping area where lot of the boats visit. I think were we saw each other we were both surprised, he end up hopping off further away from me.
Within the eastern parts of Australia, the Swamp Wallaby tends to live in thick forest undergrowth of marshes. Typically, there is a shelter site in a densely vegetated gully and they emerge to feed on more open patches of vegetation.
So this is the perfect place for them and there were few wallabies around.
