Description
Willow, the orang-utan from Taronga Zoo, just got up and walk on her 2 legs , open the door and went inside, amazing to see, I wasn't expecting to see that for myself, I almost forgot to take a photograph as I was watching her.
In the past orangutans ranged throughout Southeast Asia all the way into southern China and were found on the island of Java and in southern Sumatra. Orangutans are now found only on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra with the Sumatran species limited to the northern part of the island.
Bornean orangutan is now estimated at about 104,700 based on updated geographic range (Endangered) and the Sumatran about 7,500 (Critically Endangered).
Half of all profits will be donated to their survivor from sale of any product of Willow the orangutan !!

A different perspective on the life of this Orangutan. Is she alone? Agree with Denise! l/f/g+/t/p
Miroslava Jurcik replied:
No ,she has a partner, but he likes to stay inside under the blankets when he is cold !! The Zoo orang-utans are the lucky once , they get well taken care off, and they need to be the icons of knowledge so people stop buying palm oil products which decimate their land and food source !

Capture the sadness of it all Miroslava...l/f
Miroslava Jurcik replied:
They very well taken care off, but you right there is lots of sadness, their land are being cut down and their food source is diminishing each day !!!
