Description
Lake Wollumboola is one of some 90 coastal lakes in NSW formed following the Ice Ages, when the sea level rose, flooding river valleys. The wind and waves built up sand barriers, in some cases closing off the entrances and causing the lake beds to accumulate sediments over many thousands of years.
Lake Wollumboola gazetted as part of the Jervis Bay National Park, which is a great news bec its now protected !!
