Description
Some people think that they not native, but they are and they belong to honeyeater family . I like tham, they are very sweet and I had a pair living next to my home.
The noisy miner (Manorina melanocephala) is a bird in the honeyeater family, Meliphagidae, and is endemic to eastern and south-eastern Australia. As the common name suggests, the noisy miner is an unusually vocal species. Previously known as the garrulous honeyeater, it has a large and varied repertoire of songs, calls, scolding and alarms.
This guy was at Centennial Park in Sydney.
