Description
Jellyfish are part of a group called cnidarians, of which there are more than 10,000 species, including corals, sea anemones and hydroids (polyps).
The moon jellyfish is transparent with a slightly bluish or pinkish colour with usually four bright gonads under the stomach. They can grow up to 40cms. There are many species of moon jelly fish, even thou they look almost same, there are differences in DNA.
