Original photograph of Anemone. However dark blue lights is mostly what you see in this section, so the colour may not be occurred. On the aquarium name and picture this anemone is red.
Sea anemone comes in all colours, shapes and sizes. Anemone is a type of polyp that is attached to a surface in the water. They are closely related with corals and sea jellies. They are part of phylum Cnidaria which containing over 11,000 species. Cnidaria is delivered from the Greek 'knide' meaning nettle which refers to their stingers.
They are armed with cnidocytes (stinging cells).
Most of the sea anemone bites are harmless, but some sea anemones may be poisonous to humans. Some species produce sting, which result in several of the unwanted symptoms that may be mild and severe depending on the amount of venom injected.
