Description
And she looks at me as it to say hi, I noticed that there is something wrong with her left eye, possibly an old injury or some infection, that I am not sure of.
Kookaburras aren’t selective eaters. Their diet consists of snakes, lizards, rodents and the odd small bird, but they live primarily on different insects and invertebrates. Their method of hunting is to perch and pounce. This technique is consistent in all kingfisher species. The spot their prey and fixate on it before fluttering down to seize it in their bill, and flying back to a tree branch to eat their catch.
Small prey is eaten whole, but larger prey is killed by bashing it against the ground or tree branch.

Great eye contact and capture.. Thank you for letting me know that you cannot see my galleries. I have been having problems for several weeks with not being able to find peoples comments and having to go through all the Behind The Scenes comments to see who has made comments. My views are extremely low also and I have lost people that normally comment. L/F
